Esteemed Parents/Guardians/Teachers/Students:

Welcome to Quarter 2: Week 6.  We have five days of instruction this week, but for sure the countdown is on to our winter break for students and educators alike.  Plenty of excitement is planned before that welcome reprieve.  Please see below for some of the events taking place this week within the walls of our school (and beyond).

Note from the principal:  (For more information contact Mr. Villarreal at marc.villarreal@dodea.edu)

If you are interested in meeting the principal, Mr. Villarreal will be hosting a town hall prior to our first home basketball game in The Commons @ 1600 on Friday, December 1st.

Ciao Seniors and Parents: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid opens in December.  It is recommended you request the FSA (Federal Student Aid) ID a few days before you plan to submit the application.  So you may be asking yourself, "Why does Mr. Jessup keep bothering me about this, my parents have all the money we need for my future educational goals"? or "My family has a gazillion dollars and we won't qualify for any federal aid!"  Here's the answer! The FAFSA creates a student aid report (SAR) that colleges use to start a file for you at their financial aid office. The school's financial aid office is the first best resource for funding questions. The Financial Aid office is aware of hidden money (institutional grants, scholarships) that isn't public knowledge. Without the SAR, the financial aid office may not be aware that you want financial support. So fill out the FAFSA.  Get your FSAID at FAFSA® Application | Federal Student Aid and remember the First word in FAFSA is FREE.  Please review this link for more info:  Filing_the_FAFSA.pdf (salliemae.com)

Note from JROTC: (For more information contact Mr. Paniagua at Philip.paniagua@dodea.edu)
