Michael Jimerson Named DoDEA South District’s Community Superintendent for Italy and Turkey Schools
Dr. Michelle Howard-Brahaney, Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Europe Director for Student Excellence, is pleased to announce the selection of Mr. Michael Jimerson as the DoDEA South District’s Vicenza Community Superintendent. “Mr. Jimerson is an accomplished leader and dedicated professional. I am pleased to announce his selection for this significant role,” said Howard-Brahaney.
DoDEA Europe Welcomes Students Back, Expands Academic Opportunities for 2025–26 School Year
The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) has officially launched the 2025–26 school year across its 64 schools in Europe. Operating in four districts, eight countries, and four time zones, DoDEA Europe serves nearly 26,000 military-connected students with the support of thousands of dedicated teachers, educational aides and staff.
