Italian Honors Society

The Italian Honor Society welcomes students who have demonstrated an active interest and attachment to the beautiful Italian language. This Honor Society was founded by the American Association of Teachers of Italian for students in high school in the United States, and our chapter was established when we were still Vicenza Middle/High School in 2009. The name chosen for our chapter is Andrea Palladio, and the motto is “Sempre Avanti”, which means “Always Forward”. Through the years we have been involved in many projects, i.e. collecting food for families in need, helping when Vicenza was flooded in 2010, volunteering at a foster home on Sunday afternoon, etc.
